ORAL ORDER:

These writ petitions are filed by the managements alleging that hall tickets are not issued to the students of nursing training institutions, though examination fee was paid, holding that student admission list was not signed by the Joint Collector who is Member of the Committee which process the admissions to the nursing training institutions. 2.

This Court by interim order dated 27.4.2016 in WPMP No. 18163 of 2016 in WP 14586 of 2016 directed the respondents to permit the students to appear for the examination but direct not to announce their results. By order dated 7.8.2017 in WPMP Nos. 16838 and 30049 of 2017 in WP 14586 of 2016, this Court directed publication of results and accordingly results were published.

This Court by interim order dated 6.6.2016 in WPMP No. 21496 of 2016 in WP 17490 of 2016 directed the respondents to permit the students to appear for the examination but directed not to announce their results. In this Writ Petition there was no further direction for announcement of results, as such results were not announced. 4.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that similar issue came up for consideration in several other writ petitions. In W P No. 5045 of 2012 dated 21.6.2012 this Court found fault with the stand of respondents in not issuing hall tickets merely because the Joint Collector did not sign on the admission list to admit the students to the institutions and directed publication of results and issuance of certificates. Similar directions were also issued in several other writ petitions. This fact is not disputed by the learned Government Pleader.

Having regard to the same, writ petitions are disposed of directing the respondents, (i) in WP No. 14586 of 2016, to issue pass certificates to the students; (ii) in WP No. 17490 of 2016, to announce results and to issue pass certificates to students who have passed / memorandum of marks to students who have failed, if any. Pending miscellaneous petitions are closed.
