THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.1516 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the Judicial First Class Magistrate at Janagoan to dispose of C.C.No.449 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor representing the State.

A perusal of the record reveals that C.C.No.449 of 2012 is pending since 2012. This Court is very much conscious about the heavy pendency in the trial Courts.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate at Janagoan is hereby directed to dispose of C.C.No.449 of 2012, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
