THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.2777 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.

According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Lecturer in Telugu against an aided post on part-time basis, and having regard to the satisfactory services rendered by her, the Management submitted proposals to the Commissioner and Director of Collegiate Education, 2nd respondent, on 25.10.2016 to regularize her services in the grant-in-aid post as she is working in the vacant grant-in-aid post.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the proposals are pending with the 2nd respondent, no orders have been passed and on the contrary, the 2nd respondent is seeking to fill up the existing vacancies in the aided post in the 4th respondent college by bringing outsiders and in such event, great prejudice would be caused to the petitioner.

Having regard to the said submissions and since it is claimed that the proposals submitted by the 4th respondent on 25.10.2016 are yet to be acted upon, writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the Commissioner and Director of Collegiate Education, 2nd respondent, to act upon the proposals submitted by the 4th respondent and take a decision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the 4th respondent. If the proposals are already considered and a decision

is already taken, the same shall be communicated to the 4th respondent. A copy of decision thereof shall also be communicated to the petitioner. Till a decision, as directed above, is taken, the petitioner's status as part-time lecturer shall not be disturbed by bringing persons from outside.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
