THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.Nos.9980 and 9981 of 2017 in/and Criminal Petition No.9203 of 2017 ORDER :

Both the defacto-complainant and the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2 in C.C.No.374 of 2014 on the file of the I Addl.Judl.Magistrate of First class, at Khammam, outcome of Cr.No.39 of 2014 of WPS, Khammam, registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.498-A of IPC and u/ sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and they sought permission vide Crl.P.M.P.Nos.9980 and 9981 of 2017 to compound the offences by recording the compromise and therefrom quash the proceedings against the petitioners.

Heard both the parties and perused the record. In view of the compromise between the parties, they are permitted to compound the offences.

In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.Nos.9980 and 9981 of 2017 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.374 of 2014 on the file of the I Addl.Judl.Magistrate of First class, at Khammam, against the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2 and they are acquitted. Their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
