THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION NO.22076 OF 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue writ of mandamus and declare that the Rule 6.1 of Recruitment Rules of the 1st respondent company as restrictive in nature and violative of spirit of the Judgment of the Apex Court reported in (1996) 6 SCC 216 and also violative of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to issue appointment orders to the petitioner if they are selected in the written examination/interview for the post of Fitter/Mechanist etc.,

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the cause in this writ petition does not survive and has become infructuous.
