THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.GANGA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.6771 OF 2018

O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The petitioner, a senior citizen of 67 years of age, is aggrieved by the fact that O.A.No.616 of 2014 filed by him before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, is yet to be disposed of. The petitioner/party-in-person states before us that he is a heart patient and he is agitating for his pay fixation and retiral benefits since his retirement from service as long back as on 31.12.2011. It appears that the petitioner/party-in-person addressed communications to the Principal Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi, consequent to which the Deputy Registrar of the Principal Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi, addressed letter dated 08.06.2017 to the Registrar of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, to list the case of the petitioner/party-in-person at the top of the list as and when a Division Bench becomes available.

We are informed that the Hyderabad Bench of the Tribunal is functioning normally. That being so, in the light of the policy to give priority to cases of senior citizens, the Tribunal is bound to take up the case of the petitioner/party-in-person at the earliest. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of permitting the petitioner/party-in-person to move an appropriate application before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, seeking expeditious disposal of the O.A.No.616 of 2014 on priority basis for consideration of grant of the main or interim relief, as the case may be, expeditiously. We are certain that in the event such an

application is filed, the Tribunal would consider the same favourably and do the needful. No order as to costs.
