Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 5. 2.

Petitioner claims to be the owner of land to an extent of Ac.0-18 guntas in Sy.No.988/CAAB and Ac.0-1650 guntas in Sy.No.989/C/1A of Vadlur-Begumpet Village, Karimnagar and she was granted pattadar passbooks and title deeds. Petitioner alleges that the unofficial respondents are trying to occupy the said lands unlawfully without having any title or right. Petitioner further alleges that when she approached the Station House Officer, Bejjanki Police Station to protect her lands from illegal interference and to grant police protection to her, the same was not acted upon.

In this writ petition, petitioner seeks declaration of the action of unofficial respondents to occupy the lands of petitioner as illegal and unconstitutional and seeks consequential direction to unofficial respondents not to interfere with peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property. No grievance is ventilated against the revenue officers who are arrayed as respondents 1 to 5 and apparently, from a reading of the averments in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the grievance is against the private respondents on the alleged interference and possession. If that is so, petitioner has to avail common law remedy and no direction can be issued to private

- 3 - parties not to interfere with the subject properties claimed to be owned by the petitioner.
