THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.34410 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st Respondent in issuing G.O.Ms.No.100 Home (General.A.1) Department, dated 26.04.2013 by providing therein for minimum ticket admission prices for air-conditioned and aircooled theatres and in further, notifying a price of only Rs.10/- contrary to the recommendations made by the High Power Committee and in also fixing a minimum percentage for such category of seats as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, ultra vires of A P Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 and A P Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1970 and to pass such other appropriate orders as are deemed fit and proper in the interests of justice."

During the course of arguments, both the counsel brought to the notice of this Court that the impugned orders, vide G.O.Ms.No.100 Home (General.A.1) Department, dated 26.04.2013, came up for consideration before this Court in W.P.No.19046 of 2014 and batch and the same was struck down on 31.10.2016.

In the light of the submissions made by both the counsel, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.19046 of 2014 and batch, dated 31.10.2016. No order as to costs.
