2017-02-14A Ramalingeswara Rao2 pages

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 39514 and 40175 of 2014 COMMON ORDER:

These two writ petitions are being disposed of by this common order as they relate to withdrawal of security provided to the petitioners earlier.

These writ petitions were filed in 2014 and though a counter-affidavit was filed earlier, in view of lapse of time, this Court directed the respondents to file additional counter-affidavit with regard to the present threat perception and need for providing security.

Now, the respondents filed additional counter-affidavit stating that no representation is filed by the petitioners for providing security after 2014 and as per the threat perception report obtained recently for the meeting of the Security Review Committee to be held shortly, there is no threat perception to the petitioners from any angle. In view of the said averments, liberty is given to the petitioners to bring it to the notice of the authority concerned about the need for providing security, by way of a representation, within one week from today. Thereupon, the authority shall receive representation and place it before the Security Review Committee for passing appropriate orders thereon.

The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO,J Dt:14.02.2017 Note: Issue cc in two days.
