When the matter is taken up for hearing, written instructions dated.06-03-2018 furnished by the Sub Inspector of Police, Armoor Police Station are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. The said instructions, to the extent of their relevance, read as under: - "It is submitted that on the directions of Revenue Officials vide their Lr.No.B/ 66/ 2018 the respondent police made enquiry into the matter to maintain Law and Order except that they never threatened the petitioner nor warned them not to enter into agricultural lands, and advised them if any dispute is existed with regards to the agricultural land in between them approach the court of law to solve their grievance, hence the allegations against the police are baseless and denied hence the writ petition is devoid of any merits and it is liable to be dismissed."

On noticing the same, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to place the above instructions on record and dispose of the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by placing on record the above written instructions. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
