ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "....to issue appropriate writ, order or orders more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent No.2 in finalizing the appeal dated 07-07-2018 pending before the Government as illegal, arbitrary, highhanded action and violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also contrary to the G.O.Ms.No.61, dated 24.05.2018 and consequently direct respondent Nos.1 and 2 to dispose of the appeal in File No.22213/ Endts.I/2018, Revenue (Endowments-I) Department, within specified time limit and to grant all consequential benefits and to pass such other order or orders appropriate in the case."

Heard Smt Shalini, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-II appearing for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that initially, he was appointed as a Typist in the respondent-Endowments Department on 14-11-1994. Later, he was promoted as Senior Assistant and thereafter Superintendent. Without considering his request in the transfer counseling, the respondents have transferred the petitioner from Hyderabad to Mahabubnagar. Hence, the petitioner submitted representations dated 07.07.2018 & 15.10.2018 to the respondents. But so far, no orders have been passed thereon.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the 4th respondent has recommended the case of the petitioner for accommodating him at Hyderabad in the vacancy, which is likely to arise on 30.04.2019; and that appropriate orders be passed directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 15.10.2018 by duly taking into consideration the recommendations made by the 4th respondent.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that case of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on the said representation, in accordance with law.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 15.10.2018 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
