ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed by Nagarjunasagar Project Retired Employees Mutually Aided Co-Operative Housing Society Limited with the grievance that the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) has not been providing L.T. Service Connections and installing individual meters to the members of the petitioner society, who are former

employees. They also sought for a direction to the respondents to treat them on par with the regular employees of the Irrigation Department.

At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation (Telangana State) placed before the Court the Minutes of meeting, dated 22.06.2015, held in the Chambers of Sri T.Harish Rao, Hon'ble Minister for Irrigation, along with officials such as Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation, Chairman and Managing Director of TSSPDCL, Hyderabad and Superintending Engineer, Nagarjunasagar Project. He has further submitted that one of the decisions taken in the said meeting was to the effect that for colonies, viz., AMRSLBC Camp Colony at Gurrampodu, Kangal, GV Gudem, Panagal, Tipparthi, Kukkadam, Aitipamula, Nakrekal, Gudupally, other NSP Camp Colonies at Miryalaguda, Nereducherla, Huzurnagar and Kodada, the Irrigation Department will pay Form-A fees, development charges and security deposit duly clearing all the CC arrears as on date and that L.T. Service Connections would be extended to the consumers of all those colonies.

Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TSSPDCL, also submitted that in the above-mentioned meeting, a decision was taken, whereby the Irrigation Department has agreed to pay the arrears of Rs.38.8 crores to TSSPDCL, on receipt of which, the latter will take all the steps for laying L.T. lines and extend individual L.T. Service Connections to the residents of the above-mentioned colonies.

In the light of the above Minutes of the meeting, dated 22.06.2015, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.55 of 2012 is disposed of as infructuous.
