ORAL ORDER:
Heard counsel for petitioner and Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents.

Petitioner's allegation is that vehicle bearing Registration No. TS 27 A 6666 belonging to him has been detained illegally by the 5th respondent on the ground that driver of the said vehicle was drunk. 3.
The Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents states that the vehicle was seized on 22.3.2019 as the driver was not in a position to drive the vehicle and so the vehicle was detained. 4.
According to learned Government Pleader, petty case vide Consecutive No. 602/2019 was registered against the driver of the vehicle and vehicle is still detained in the police station. 5.
Therefore, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 5th respondent with RC Book relating to the said vehicle and also by producing proof of his identity and thereupon the 5th respondent or other official, who has the custody of the vehicle in question, shall release the said vehicle to the petitioner forthwith. 6.
