ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A2 to A5 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.36 of 2014 of Mangalagiri Town Police Station, Guntur Urban District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 120-B IPC, against them.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that all the accused with criminal conspiracy have forged the documents in respect of the land to an extent of Ac.0.56 cents vide D.No.236/B at Chinakakani Village, belongs to the de facto complainant and A1 tried to register the same in favour A2 to A5 by paying challan for a sum of Rs.23 lakhs for registration fee in SBI Mangalagiri, thereby cheated the de facto complainant. Based on the said complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.

3. Heard and perused the material on record.

4. In view of the allegations made against the petitioners in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting petitioners/A2 to A5, and file a final report, if any.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
