ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "...to issue a Writ in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, direction order or orders declaring the action of the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner with effect from 30-05-97 when he completed 5 years of adhoc-service with all consequential benefits and also direct the respondents to pay salary as per the time scale applicable to work inspector Grade-III including all arrears from 30-05-92 and pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court may be deem fit and roper in the facts and circumstances of the case." Heard Sri M.P.Chandramouli, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Sri G.Seena Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is that initially, he was appointed as Work Inspector (Technical) on adhoc-basis on 30-05-1992 by the 2nd respondent and though he had completed 13 years of service, the respondents are not regularizing his services in the cadre of Work Inspector Grade-III, and that he is entitled for salary in the pay scale of Rs.910-1625.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner was allotted to the 4th respondent-Corporation

vide proceedings dated 1.6.2009 and since then, he is working as such under the 4th respondent. He further submits that the 2nd respondent sent proposals to the 4th respondent for regularizing the services of the petitioner vide proceedings dated 17.11.2014 and the same are pending before the 4th respondent and it is for the 4th respondent to pass orders on the said proposals submitted on 17.11.2014.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the proposals submitted by the 2nd respondent on 17.11.2014, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
