HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.25765 of 1999 ORDER:

This writ is filed seeking a writ of mandamus to declare the action of the 1st respondent in not providing reservations for the economically backward classes in the post of lecturers as per the orders of the Government of India and directing the 1st respondent to implement those circular orders without any further delay and other reliefs.

2. When this matter is listed yesterday, there was no representation for both sides. Therefore, it is directed to be posted to today under the caption 'for dismissal'. In spite of that, no interest is evinced in prosecuting the case and neither the petitioners nor their counsel is present to argue the case.

3. As the petitioners have not evinced any interest, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
