THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.7977 OF 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "..........Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not permitting the petitioner to continue the hoardings at H.No.8-2-470/13, MPM Mall, Nagarjuna Circle, Banjarahills, Road No.1, Hyderabad with advertisement vide bearing No.CZ-10 502601, even after giving reply on 04-04-2019 to the show cause notice No.162/Advt/GHMC/2018-19, dated 20.03.2019, while permitted others, as highly illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unconstitutional and violation of Articles 14, 21, 19 and 300-A of Constitution of India and also in violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to permit the petitioner to continue the outdoor advertising business through hoardings in respect of advertisement vide bearing No.CZ-10 502601 issued by the 3rd respondent..........."

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri L.Venkateswar Rao, learned Standing counsel for GHMC.

The case of the petitioner is that as against the show cause notice dated 20.03.2019, petitioner has already submitted explanation on 04.04.2019 which is not yet considered by the respondents.

Having regard to the above submission, inasmuch as the petitioner has already submitted explanation on 04.04.2019, the respondent authorities shall consider the

said explanation and pass necessary orders within a period of two (01) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in the writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
