Sirpur Paper Mills Employees Sangh, Hyderabad. v. The State Of A.P., Labour Dept., Hyderabad, And 3 Otrs.
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.5317 of 2011 ORDER:
The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the letter of the 2nd respondent No.B/217/2011 dated nil, addressed to the 4th respondent, as arbitrary and illegal. By the said letter, the 4th respondent was informed that as per the annual return filed by the Union in the year 2010, the 19 persons names therein were declared as the office bearers. The name of the petitioner is not reflected therein. In any event, even according to the averments of the affidavit, the petitioner's term of office, as a Union office bearer, was only for two years from 06.04.2010 to 05.04.2012. The said period expired more than five years ago. It is evident therefore that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court.
The Writ Petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
