Islamia Educational Society, v. Smt Ranjeev R.Acharya,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.241 of 2016 ORDER:
This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 03.12.2015 passed in W.P.No.37635 of 2015. By the said order, the writ petition was disposed of directing the State of Telangana to consider the representation dated 01.05.2013 made by the first petitioner society to withdraw the grant-in-aid staff provided to the second petitioner educational institution. This exercise was directed to be completed within a time frame and in the event the request of the first petitioner society was denied, the State was directed to pass a detailed order recording the reasons therefor.
2.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that pursuant to the aforestated order, the Special Chief Secretary to the Government, School Education (General) Department, Government of Telangana, issued Memo No.1041/SE.GenII/A2/2012 dated 03.02.2016 rejecting the request of the first petitioner society to surrender the grant-in-aid posts in the second petitioner educational institution on the ground that the school could not run on its own, given the existing litigation and its record of mismanagement.
3.
In the light of the aforestated memo, it is clear that the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with. 4.
The contempt case is accordingly closed. No order as to costs. _______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J Date:30.08.2019 PGS
