HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.15581 OF 2009 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not allotting the quarter to the petitioner as pr his eligibility at New Millennium Quarters, Bhupalapally area as per the Circular No.HAC/Corr/97/3274, dated 16.06.1997 of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited, as illegal and arbitrary.
A perusal of the record reveals that this Court by an order dated 19.03.2010 directed the respondents to consider the petitioner's case for allotment of quarter at New Millennium Quarters, Bhupalpally in terms of the Circular No.
HAC/Corr/97/3274, dated 16.06.1997. Now when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents Sri Nandigama Krishna Rao submits that by proceedings dated 31.08.2015 petitioner was allotted a Quarter No.BK-62 in Pilot Colony, RGM-Bhoopalpalli Area. Since the relief which was sought by the petitioner stands granted, no further orders need to be passed in this Writ Petition. Proceedings dated 31.08.2015 is placed on record. Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents and considering the fact that the relief sought by the petitioner stands already passed no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall
also stand closed.
