Both the writ petitions are filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the tender notification vide Notification No.NIT No.HMDA/DEV/SE/03/ 2014-15 issued for grant of licence for a period of three years by fixing the licence fee specified therein as illegal, arbitrary and without authority.

2. When the writ petitions have taken up for hearing, Sri M. Surender Rao, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 and 3 produced a letter dated 2201-2015 addressed to the learned standing counsel stating that the authorities have taken a decision to cancel the impugned tender notification and to issue a fresh tender notification and that the cause in the writ petitions no longer survives and has become infructuous and the same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the writ petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, interim directions, if any, granted automatically stands vacated.
