THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR W.P. NO. 25334 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. B. Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. The petitioner states that she is short-listed for grant of letter of intent relating to a petroleum dealership and stands at No. 1 in the panel. It is alleged that the respondents have not yet finalized the grant of petroleum dealership and therefore, the petitioner made representations dated 8.12.2014 and 29.1.2015, apart from the representation made by the President of their association on 10.11.2014 requesting the respondents to finalise and issue appropriate letter of intent relating to Boath, Adilabad district in favour of the petitioner under schedule caste category.
The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that as the appropriate land is required to be located, finalization of the proposal is held up, however, the representations of the petitioner will duly be considered as early as possible after completing all the formalities. In view of that, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner in the light of their policy and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
