Heard learned counsel on either side.

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents to re-engage the petitioner as Divisional Level Monitoring Team for the Academic year 2015-16.

The petitioner was appointed as a Member in the Divisional Level Monitoring Team, on contract basis, v i d e proceedings dated 5.11.2012.

The contract employment of the petitioner came to an end during the academic year 2014-15 i.e., on 23.04.2015. The Government has taken a decision to re-engage the members of the Divisional Level Monitoring Team for the next academic year 201516 based on their performance. According to the petitioner, the 4th respondent issued a letter dated 2.5.2015 recommending to re-engage the petitioner for the academic year 2015-16 based on her performance in the previous years. In spite of the same, the petitioner was not re-engaged for the present year 2015-16 and the rejection orders were communicated to her through mail in the office of

the Mandal Education Officer, which she came to know only after making enquiries. After receiving the said orders, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 22.06.2015 to the second respondent stating that she belongs to poor family and there is no source of any other income and therefore, requested to re-engage her for the present academic year.

Counter-affidavit has been filed on behalf of the 3rd respondent contending that several complaints were received against the petitioner and that the performance of the petitioner was found not satisfactory and that therefore, she was not reengaged for the academic year 2015-16. In any event, since the representation dated 22.06.2015 submitted by the petitioner seeking reengagement is pending before the 2nd respondent, I am not inclined to go into the merits of the case. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 22.06.2015 submitted by the petitioner for re-engagement and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition stand closed.
