The present writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking to direct the respondents to consider their representation dated 17.9.2016 and pass orders.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that when there was an attempt to enter into the property of the petitioners by the Caste Organization of one M. Ratnakumar, the petitioners filed W.P.No.28815 of 2013 seeking to grant police aid and the said writ petition is pending. Subsequently, there was an attempt on the life of the son of the petitioners. Hence, they made a representation dated 17.9.2016 to respondents Nos.2 and 3 seeking police protection to them and their family members. But there was no response on the representation of the petitioners. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, respondents Nos.2 and 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 17.9.2016 and take appropriate steps in accordance with law, if there is any threat by any of the persons to the personal liberty and property of the petitioners.
