This criminal petition is filed under Section 480 & 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, by petitioner/A.2 praying to enlarge him on bail in connection with Crime No.95 of 2026 of Ramachandrapuram Police Station, Sangareddy District. The offences alleged against the petitioner

- 2 - are under Sections 143(1)(f), 144(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of PIT Act. 2.

The facts of the case are that on 09.02.2026 at about 2:00 PM, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Ramachandrapuram Police Station, received credible information about a brothel being operated at Plot No. 131, Indresham village, Patancheru Mandal. Acting on instructions from superior officers, he, along with staff and mediators, proceeded to the location. Upon entry, the police found one person in the hall and a man and woman inside the bedroom. All three were taken into custody. During interrogation, petitioner admitted to assisting one Mallikharjun in running the brothel by renting the premises, arranging women, and collecting money from customers. He stated that he charged Rs.1,600/- per customer, retains Rs.100/- as commission, and sent the rest to Mallikharjun and earning about Rs.2,000/- per day.

On the same day, accused Kavali Sai Naidu paid Rs.1,600/- via PhonePe to the petitioner, and sent the customer into the room. The police seized three packets of contraceptives and three mobile phones belonging to the accused, and they were brought to the Police Station for further legal action.

Heard Sri S.Chandrashekhar Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri M.Ramachandra Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent-State.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is no way connected with this offence and he is falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is in jail from 10.02.2026 and that the entire investigation is completed except filing of chargesheet. The petitioner undertakes to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, prayed this Court to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 5.

On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed bail stating that the offence committed by the petitioner is very serious in nature. The petitioner along with other accused is involved and running a brothel house. Hence, petitioner is not entitled to bail and prayed to dismiss this petition.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both parties and upon perusal of the material available on record, it is noted that the petitioner herein is in jail from

- 4 - 10.02.2026 and the entire investigation is almost completed except filing of charge sheet. Having regard to the stage of investigation and the period of incarceration of petitioner in jail, this Court deems it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner subject to the following conditions : i. The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Prohibition & Excise Offences Court, at Sangareddy.

ii. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned SHO between 09.00 a.m and 5.00 p.m., on every Wednesday for a period of eight (8) weeks or till filing of charge sheet whichever is earlier, for the purpose of investigation, and thereafter, as and when required.

iii. The petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 483(2) of the BNSS.

Accordingly, Criminal Petition is allowed.
