THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.10382 OF 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner - Accused No.1 & 2 under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking to grant bail in Crime No.167 of 2015 of Punganur Police Station, Chittoor District, for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 419, 420, 148 and 205 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioners is that they impersonated the de facto complainant and managed the records and obtained Award in the Lok Adalat, as if the de facto complainant was entered into a compromise with them in the civil cases, pending with regard to the lands belonging to the de facto complainant and her brother. In view of the seriousness of the allegations levelled against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to them.
