HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CONTEMPT CASE No.607 of 2013 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed complaining that the respondents disobeyed the orders dated 29.3.2011 passed by this Court in W.P.No.8162 of 2011.

The petitioner herein was appointed as Standing Counsel for the Municipalities in Andhra Area to represent them in the A.P. Administrative Tribunal from 2004 to 2010. But respondents Nos.3 to 41 in the above Writ Petition did not pay the fee payable to the petitioner for conducting various cases on behalf of the respondents. Hence, the petitioner filed the above Writ Petition. This Court disposed of the said writ petition directing respondents Nos.3 to 41 therein to process the bills submitted by the petitioner and release the amounts due to him, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Now, the petitioner filed this contempt case complaining that the respondents herein disobeyed the said orders of this Court.

Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that some of the respondents herein paid the amounts due to the petitioner and some of the respondents have not paid the amounts due to the petitioner as he failed to furnish the particulars in detail as to the cases for which he claims fees from them, and therefore, the petitioner may be directed to give a representation to the respondents, who have not paid the amount due to him, informing the cases for which he is claiming fees. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the respondents, the

petitioner is directed to make a representation to the respondents, from which he has not received his fees as claimed by him, informing the particulars of cases for which he is claiming fees. On such representation being made, the respondents concerned are directed to dispose of the same and pay the amounts due to the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there is any failure on the part of any of the respondents, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court.
