THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.19179 OF 2017 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings dated 09.05.2017 issued by the second respondent in placing the petitioner under suspension from the post of Sarpanch of Turkayamjal Gram Panchayat, Hayathnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. A perusal of the impugned proceedings shows that the petitioner is kept under suspension for a period of three months or till the misappropriated funds of Gram Panchayat are deposited by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged misappropriated funds were deposited by the petitioner on 10.05.2017 through Bank Challan No.1771, dated 10.05.2017. In view of the deposit of the amount by the petitioner, the charge is now handed over to the petitioner by the District Collector. In view of the handing over the charge to the petitioner pursuant to the deposit of the alleged misappropriated amount, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
