This petition is filed seeking for quash of the proceedings against the petitioner, in STC No.5 of 2008 on the file of the court of XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad.

The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 13, 19, 22 r/ w 31 of A.P.Fire Service Act, 1999.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner in this case is no more. He filed copy of the Death Certificate issued by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation intimating the death of the petitioner on 17.11.2011. 4.

The learned Public Prosecutor also does not refute the said fact.

In view of the above, the cause in this petition no longer survives for adjudication.

The Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Interim stay granted by this court on 30.09.2011 in Crl.P.M.P.No.10225 of 2011 shall stand vacated. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
