Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the FIR No.51 of of Mamidikuduru Police Station, East Godavari District. It is however, brought to my notice by the learned counsel for the petitioners-accused that the crime was investigated into and that the police have ultimately filed charge sheet bearing C.C.No.244 of 2010 on the file of the Court of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rajole, East Godavari District and the same was taken cognizance; that the petitioners-accused were tried and ultimately acquitted by the judgment dated 6.8.2012 in C.C.No.244 of 2010 by the Court of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rajole. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Petition.

Recording the above submission, the Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
