THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITIONS No.3817, 3981 and 6542 of 2017 COMMON ORDER:
In all three criminal petitions the crime number, the Station House Officer as well as the Section of Law are one and the same; hence this Court is inclined to pass common order in all the petitions.

Criminal Petition No. 3817 of 2017 is filed by the petitioner/A2, Criminal Petition No.3981 of 2017 is filed by the petitioner/A3 and Criminal Petition No.6542 of 2017 is filed by the petitioner/A5 under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., seeking bail in Crime No.31 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Rajanagaram Police Station, Rajamahendravaram Urban, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners in all the petitions and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners/A2, A3 and A5 submitted that after filing charge sheet, the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram, has taken the case on file and numbered the same as S.C.No.122 of 2017. They further submitted that the petitioners are in jail since 16.02.2017. Learned counsels
for the petitioners further submitted that the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram, may be directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four (4) months. 5.
In view of the submission made by the learned counsels for the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned I Additional Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram, is hereby directed to dispose of S.C.No.122 of as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of five (5) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7.
With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
