Heard Sri Ch. Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Sri MSR Chandra Murthy, learned special counsel for respondents 2 and 3.

2. According to the petitioner, he was appointed as Field Assistant at Patapalam Village, KVB Puram Mandal, Chittoor District, under MGNREG Scheme on 26.08.2010. On the ground of certain irregularities that were made and lapses that were pointed out in the social audit, the 3rd respondent issued a show cause notice dated 04.05.2015 to the petitioner calling for his explanation and also temporarily removing him from service, pending enquiry.

3. Since the impugned order was passed pending enquiry, I am not inclined to examine the merits of the impugned order. In the circumstances, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the enquiry against the petitioner on the charges levelled against him after receiving explanation and affording opportunity of hearing and pass final orders in accordance with the Rules, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the impugned order shall stand revoked.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
