This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-Accused No.2 under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant anticipatory bail to him in Crime No.3/RCT-OGL/2015 of ACB, Prakasam District, Ongole, registered for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Heard and perused the material available on record. It is stated that A1 received bribe amount on the instructions of A2. On coming to know about the trap, the petitioner absconded from duties. It is stated that the investigating agency recovered some documents from the house of the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
