HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.38205 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioners by calling them to the police station and not to interfere with their personal life and liberty.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
The petitioners are the relatives of A1 in Crime No.68 of 2016 on the file of Pedanandipadu Police Station, Guntur District. A1 fell in love with the daughter of the 4th respondent viz., Hima Bindu. A1 and the said Hima Bindu together left their homes and on the complaint lodged by the 4th respondent, the above crime was registered against A1, and A1 was released on bail and now he is absconding. The 3rd respondent is harassing the petitioners to produce A1 and threatening them. 4.
Considering the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, the official respondents are directed not to harass the petitioners by calling them to the police station. If the names of the petitioners are found in the above crime, the official respondents are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners.
