Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Services (T.G.) appearing for respondents. 2.

Petitioners grievance is that they had made an appeal on 03.09.2016 and a representation dated 30.12.2017 to the second respondent for refixing their seniority in the cadre of Prohibition and Excise Constables at Ranga Reddy and that the second respondent does not take any action thereon.

Learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents states that the second respondent will consider the said appeal dated 03.09.2016 and representation dated 30.12.2017 within a period of eight (8) weeks and communicate his decision to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioners' appeal dated 03.09.2016 and representation dated 30.12.2017, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs. 5.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
