Heard Sri K.Rajanna, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology for the State of Telangana, for respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is non-disposal of the Revision filed under Rule 35(A) of Telangana State Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966 (for short 'the Rules). Shorn of inapposite details, the Director of Mines and Geology by virtue of an order vide proceedings in D.Dis.No.11402/R1-1/2016, dated 02.08.2016, rejected the application of petitioner herein for transfer of lease of un-expired portion pertaining to the lease of laterite over an extent of Ac.20-00 in Sy.No.60/2 of Mallampally Village, Mulugu Mandal, Warangal District. As against the said order passed by the Director of Mines and Geology, the petitioner herein filed a statutory Revision under Rule 35-A of the Rules. 3.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner filed the above Revision as long back as on 29.06.2017, no orders have been passed so far, by the respondent State Government on the said Revision application and in view of the same, petitioner is sustaining irreparable loss and hardship.

At the hearing, on instructions, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Pleader that the State Government fixed date of hearing of the Revision as 16.09.2017

at 11.00 A.M. While stating so, a request is made by the learned Government Pleader to grant some time to the respondent State Government for disposal of the said Revision. 6.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader, in the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition, directing the respondent State Government to pass appropriate orders on the Revision dated 29.06.2017 preferred by the petitioner herein, against the orders of the Director of Mines and Geology dated 02.08.2016, within a period of eight (08) weeks form the date of receipt of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders, including the petitioner 7.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to order deletion of the 1st respondent from the array of the parties.

In view of the same, 1st respondent is directed to be deleted from the cause title.
