THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32668 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed with the following prayer: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not considering the representation dated 09.09.2015 and legal notice dated 24.09.2015 against the 4th respondent as illegal, improper, unjust, arbitrary, contrary to law and also violation of Article 21 of Constitution of India and further direct the 3rd respondent not harass the petitioner and his family members by calling them to the police station and pass such other order or orders in the interest of justice."
Sri Mahadeva Kanthrigala, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the matter has become infructuous as the police authorities have registered Crime No.96 of 2015 against the petitioner based on the complaint made by Shaik Jareen Taj, the fourth respondent, under Sections 498-A and 307 I.P.C. read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, on the file of Marripadu Police Station, Atmakur Circle, SPSR Nellore District.
Recording the said statement, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
