HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION No.7562 OF 2009 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of the respondents in not granting licences to fish in the water of interu swamp located in Rampuram village, Hamlet of Chinna Pandraka village, Kruthivennu Mandal, Krishna District for the year 2008-09 as arbitrary and illegal.

By way of an interim order in WPMP No.9934 of 2009 dated 09.04.2009, the respondents were directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2009 for grant of licences. The Licences sought for relate to the year 2008-09, which expired more than eight years ago. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
