This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents 4 and 5 in filing the charge-sheet before the Court concerned in Crime No.20 of 2019 of Yellareddy Police Station, Kamareddy District, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and for a consequential direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to give protection to the petitioner, since there is a severe threat to his life in the hands of the 6th respondent.

Heard Sri M.A.Aleem Majid, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri G.Malla Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home representing the respondents 1 to 5 and perused the record.

It has been contended on behalf of the petitioner that though First Information Report was issued in subject Crime on 02.03.2019 and charge-sheet is not yet filed before the Court concerned, the petitioner is entitled for protection as envisaged in Part III of the Constitution of India.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home representing the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the entire investigation is completed and the police concerned are about to file the charge-sheet in the subject crime before the Court concerned.

Under these circumstances, the Station House Officer, Yellareddy Police Station, Kamareddy District, is directed to expedite filing of the final report in Crime No.20 of 2019 before the Court concerned, preferably within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6 .

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
