SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.2532 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is A2, in Crime No.03 of 2018 on the file of Prohibition and Excise Police Station, Ongole, Prakasam District. The offences alleged are under Section 34(a) of the A.P.Excise Act, 1968.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegations against this petitioner are that when the wife of the petitioner who was present in the shop, selling liquor for higher prices was enquired, she informed that this petitioner goes to unknown wine shops and purchases and removes lid and fills some water and sells the same.

Hence, considering the nature of allegations, this court opines that this is a not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below having the jurisdiction. The court below shall dispose of the bail application on merits, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
