THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 4467 OF 2008 O R D E R :

Questioning the termination of the petitioners from the posts of Field Assistant, without issuing any prior notice, this Writ Petition has been taken out.

This Court, vide interim order dated 29.02.2008, directed continuation of the petitioners as Field Assistants pending disposal of the Writ Petition.

Sri G. Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent submits that the 1st petitioner has already resigned her job and hence, it is only the case of the 2nd petitioner, which is required to be considered now. He therefore, is fair enough in submitting that the respondents may be given liberty to take action in accordance with law by giving a notice, in view of the fact that the services of the Field Assistant are required for a limited period. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. It is directed that the interim order dated 29.02.2008 be treated as the one passed in the main Writ Petition. However, it is made clear that this order shall not be construed as restraining the respondents from taking action in accordance with law, by issuing necessary notice. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
