THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.29979 OF 2017 ORDER:

The first petitioner and the second petitioner claim that they are the absolute owners and possessors of land admeasuring Acs.2.53 cents and Acs.2.47 cents in Survey Nos.477 and 544/1 respectively of Laxmi Narayana Devipet Village in Polavaram Mandal of West Godavari District. The third petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring Acs.2.52 cents and Acs.2.47 cents in Survey Nos.477 and 544/1 respectively of Laxmi Narayana Devipet Village in Polavaram Mandal of West Godavari District. The petitioners have been in possession and enjoyment of their respective shares of the land. 2.
According to the petitioners, separate applications were made vide receipts dated 18.02.2017 generated through AP-Online website disclosing filing of applications to mutate their names in the revenue records but so far no decision is taken. 3.
Since applications are already made to mutate the petitioners' names in the revenue records and so far the same are not disposed of by the Tahsildar (fourth respondent), the fourth respondent is directed to examine the claims of the petitioners by following due procedure as required in law, if necessary, putting the petitioners on notice and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning reasons in support of his decision. Such a decision shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
