O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue authorities are not issuing her a new pattadar pass book/title deed in relation to her land in Survey No.332/11 of Mattampally Village and Mandal, Suryapet District. Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was issued a pattadar pass book under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, in relation to an extent of Ac.2.20 gts. in Survey No.332/11 of Mattampaly Village. She seems to have made a representation on 01.11.2018 to the District Collector, Suryapet; the Revenue Divisional Officer, Suryapet; and the Tahsildar, Mattampally, for issuance of a new pattadar pass book/title deed so as to avail the benefit of the Government's Ryothu Bandu scheme.

In the light of the aforestated facts, it is clear that the revenue authorities have already recognised the title and ownership of the petitioner over the subject extent of land. The pattadar's Adangal/Pahani copy dated 14.12.2016 reflects that the survey number was sub-divided and the land holding of the petitioner, viz., Ac.2.20 gts., was shown in Survey No.332/11 of Mattampally Village. In such circumstances, it is not open to the revenue authorities to ignore the request of the petitioner for issuance of the new pattadar pass book/title deed which would enable her to avail the benefit of the Government scheme. However, as the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2018 does not bear any

endorsement to the effect that it was received by the revenue authorities, she cannot complain of inaction on the said representation at this stage. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of permitting the petitioner to make an application afresh to the Tahsildar, Mattampally Mandal, Suryapet District, along with copies of necessary documents, seeking issuance of a new pattadar pass book/title deed which would enable her to avail the benefit of the Government scheme. In the event such an application is made, the Tahsildar, Mattampally Mandal, Suryapet District, shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and take appropriate action thereon expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of such application. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
