THE HON'BLE MRS JUSTICE ANIS CRIMINAL PETITION NO.1530 of 2012 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.5 of 2004 on the file of the II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Nellore, for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 as amended by the Banking Public Institution and Negotiable Instrument Act 1988.

When the case is called learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the cause in the criminal petition does not survive and the same has become infructuous.

In view of the same, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
