Neelakantha Reddy, S/O. Bayyareddy, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 11152 OF 2015 O R D E R:
The petitioner is working as a Field Assistant, Nallagunttapalli Village of O.D. Cheruvu Mandal, Anantapur District under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. His services have been terminated by the Project Director by the orders passed in August 2014. Since an Appeal would lie against such an order, the petitioner appears to have submitted an Appeal to the District Collector, Anantapur. Though the said Appeal does not bear any date, the Collector shall deal with it on merits as expeditiously as is possible and dispose it of within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in somewhat similar circumstances, entertaining Writ Petition No. 2346 of 2015, an order was passed by this Court on 06.02.2015. It is for the petitioner to bring to the notice of the Collector the orders passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 2346 of 2015 and urge before him for a similar exercise to be indulged in and upon application of his mind, the Collector will be able to decide the matter.
With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of after hearing Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondents 3 and 4. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand disposed of. ----------------------------------------- NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO, J 20th April 2015 ksld
