Parsa Srinivas Rao v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 4447 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in dispossessing the petitioner from the land admeasuring 1.1/2 cents in Sy.No.83 situated at Morsapudi, Nuzvid, Krishna District, as illegal and contrary to law.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the application, dated 08.02.2016, made by the petitioner for regularization of the land, which he claims to be in occupation.
Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner on 08.02.2016 for regularization of said land and pass orders in accordance with law and in terms of G.O.Ms.No.296 of 2015, if the petitioner is still in possession of the said land. No order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
