Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the counsel for respondent No.1.

The present Criminal Revision Case is filed questioning the judgment passed in Crl.A.No.11 of 2016 dated 30.6.2017 on the file of the Court of the V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kurnool at Nandyal, confirming the judgment in CC.No.219 of 2013 dated 8.1.2016 on the file of the Court of Special Magistrate, Nandyal, convicting the petitioner herein to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of six months besides payment of an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- towards compensation to the complainant i.e., respondent No.1 herein.

It is informed by both the counsel that during the pendency of the present Criminal Revision Case, the parties have compromised at the instance of their well wishers and elders. Accordingly, an application in I.A.No.2 of 2017 under Section 147 of Negotiable Instruments Act is filed seeking permission of this Court to compound the offence.

The petitioner as well as respondent No.1 have been identified by their respective counsel. The xerox copies of the Aadhar Cards

of the petitioner and respondent No.1 are filed and they are made part of record.

In view of the understanding arrived at between the parties and also in the light of the amounts paid to the complainant, which he admitted in the open Court, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive.

Accordingly, I.A.No.2 of 2017 is ordered.

In view of the orders passed in I.A.No.2 of 2017, the Criminal Revision Case is allowed by setting aside the judgment in Crl.A.No.11 of 2016 dated 30.6.2017 on the file of the Court of the V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kurnool at Nandyal, confirming the judgment in CC.No.219 of 2013 dated 8.1.2016 on the file of the Court of Special Magistrate, Nandyal. In view of the above orders, respondent No.1 herein is permitted to withdraw the sum of Rs.50,000/- deposited by the petitioner herein pursuant to the orders dated 10.11.2017 passed by this Court.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
