THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1747 of 2014 ORDER:
This contempt case is instituted complaining that the interim order passed by this Court on 16.04.2014 in WPMP.No.13520 of 2014 in W.P.No.10770 of 2014 is violated deliberately by the respondents.
Sri K.Rathanga Pani Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the police, particularly the C.I. of police, Jammalamadugu, YSR Kadapa District, is consistently threatening the petitioner to stop their Socio-Cultural activities and close down the club and lock it up and deliver the keys at the police station. It is also contended that the C.I of police, Jammalamadugu Police Station, is sending police constables very frequently for purpose of securing the keys and police constables are visiting the residences of the members of the petitioner - club, so that the image of the members of the petitioner - club will suffer a dent. Whereas, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would strenuously contend that all these allegations are trumped-up and there is no truth in them and the police, in general, and the police in YSR Kadapa District have highest regard for law and order and also for the High Court and that they mostly implement every order passed by the Court faithfully and truthfully and they never overreach the orders passed by the High Court at all.
The C.I. of Police, Jammalamadugu Police Station, has been enquired into by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Jammalamadugu and the C.I of Police, Jammalamadugu has categorically denied the allegations leveled by the petitioner - club.
In view of the statement contained in the counter-affidavit sworn to by the SubDivisional Police Officer, Jammalamadugu, YSR Kadapa District, no further orders are needed to be passed in this Contempt case. Accordingly, the contempt case is dismissed. No order as to costs.
