THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.14560 OF 2010 ORDER:

This Court on 25.06.2010, while admitting the writ petition has granted interim direction for reinstatement of the petitioner into service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suspended from service as he was arrested in pursuance of criminal case registered against him in Crime No.l48 of 2010 under section 498A, 494, 406, 506 of IPC and Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. on 19.04.2010 and that after filing charge sheet the same was numbered as CC.No.743/2010 and petitioner was acquitted on 10.05.2010.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. In this case, the petitioner was suspended from service basing on the arrest in a criminal case and this Court granted interim direction for reinstatement of the petitioner, on 25.06.2010 and the same is in operation from 2010 onwards. Since it is stated that the petitioner is already acquitted, the impugned suspension order is set aside. However this order will not preclude the competent authority from taking

appropriate action against the petitioner, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the CRP, shall stand closed.
