Kandimalla Easwaraiah, v. The State Of A.P., Rep.By Its Principal Secretary,
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P.No.13868 OF 2014 PC:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (AP).
The petitioners complain against the inaction of 3rd respondent in considering the petitioners' application dated 16.07.2013 filed under the A.P. Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006, as illegal and arbitrary.
We are satisfied that the writ petition can be disposed of without examining the case on merits, as the complaint is against inaction in disposing of representation dated 16.07.2013. Therefore, without embarking upon the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of as follows:
"The petitioners are given four weeks time from today to resubmit the representation dated 16.07.2013, along with the copy of order, to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntur/3rd respondent and the Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation and communicate to the petitioners. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, also stand disposed of.
